Armed robbers target massage parlors in four states

ORLANDO, FL – A pair of suspected criminals have been apprehended in Orange County, bringing an end to a string of robberies that stretched across several states. Julian Galindo and Julian Garcia, now in custody, are accused of a series of bold crimes involving armed robbery, kidnapping, and posing as police officers.

The two men stood before a judge on Wednesday, where they were denied bail, reflecting the seriousness of their alleged actions. The Orlando Police Department was called to a massage parlor on Bumby Avenue on October 30, responding to reports of a robbery where the suspects had masqueraded as officers to gain access.

An eyewitness, preferring anonymity, recounted the event as a nightmare, a sentiment that has resonated with the local community. Detectives connected Galindo and Garcia to the scene through fingerprints found on tampered security cameras and inside the establishment.

The day prior to this incident, the suspects allegedly targeted another venue, Golden Gate Massage. They reportedly identified themselves as law enforcement, coerced the victims upstairs, and used a knife to intimidate them, ultimately making off with $4,000 in cash. The victims were then confined to a room in a state of undress.

This incident is part of a larger pattern. Investigations have uncovered a series of similar robberies at massage parlors in Texas, California, Missouri, and now Florida, suggesting a calculated and widespread operation.

The charges leveled against Galindo and Garcia are grave, with the armed robbery charge alone potentially resulting in a 30-year sentence. As the inquiry continues, both men remain in the Orange County Jail, held without bond, as the legal process unfolds.

This case has raised concerns about business security and the role of law enforcement in preventing such crimes. As details emerge, communities impacted by these robberies are left to deal with the consequences.

The ongoing investigation is expected to reveal more about the suspects’ intentions and whether they acted independently or as part of a larger group. For now, their capture marks a crucial development in tackling these alarming crimes.
