AURORA, CO – A fatal crash involving a Tesla in Aurora early Friday morning has left one man dead and six others injured, according to local police. The incident occurred shortly after an officer attempted to stop a speeding vehicle.
Authorities reported that the officer spotted a Tesla traveling at 97 mph near the intersection of Alameda Avenue and Quintera Way. When the officer initiated a traffic stop, the driver of the Tesla accelerated and fled the scene.
