Four men beat warehouse worker with bats

MEDLEY, FL – A shocking attack unfolded at a local cargo courier warehouse, where a 70-year-old man was brutally beaten by four masked assailants wielding baseball bats. The incident, captured on surveillance footage, has left the community on edge as police seek public assistance to identify the attackers.

The attack occurred on September 24, with the suspects storming the warehouse, which facilitates shipments to the Dominican Republic. The elderly victim, who was on duty at the time, was pushed to the ground and assaulted without provocation. Despite the severity of the attack, the police have withheld the most graphic portions of the video due to its disturbing nature.

Authorities released a portion of the footage showing the suspects clad in black, red, and gray hoodies, their faces obscured, as they swiftly entered and exited the scene. Notably, the attackers communicated in Spanish during the assault, but no words were exchanged with the victim, indicating a premeditated and targeted attack.

The perpetrators fled the scene in a white Nissan sedan, characterized by distinctive blacked-out tires, tinted windows, and other black features, including door handles and a gas cover. Despite the violence, the assailants took nothing from the warehouse.

The victim sustained severe injuries, including two broken arms and multiple cuts and bruises. He remains in serious condition, facing a challenging recovery process.

As investigators work to uncover a motive, they urge anyone with information to come forward. A reward of at least $2,000 is being offered for tips leading to the arrest of the suspects. Those with information can contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
