HONOLULU, HI – The quiet neighborhood of Halawa was shaken by a tragic incident, as 38-year-old Frank Bright was taken into custody on suspicion of murdering his wife, Amy Takaki Bright. The chilling discovery unfolded after police responded to a welfare check request from the property owner, who found the front door ajar and vehicles parked in the driveway.
Upon entering the residence, officers discovered the unresponsive body of 43-year-old Amy Bright in the hallway. The medical examiner later confirmed that her death resulted from multiple chop wounds to her head and neck.
