LOS ANGELES, CA – A former adult model is under scrutiny from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, accused of targeting affluent men and making off with their valuables. Authorities are now investigating the possibility that there are more victims than initially believed.
Identified as Adva La Vie, also known by aliases Mia Ventura and Shoshana or Shayna La Vie, the suspect allegedly used online dating apps to connect with elderly men. Posing as a potential companion, she is accused of subsequently burglarizing their homes.
Michael Sartain, who witnessed La Vie’s tactics firsthand, described an incident during a podcast recording. La Vie, known to Sartain as Mia, appeared on his show, Access Vegas, on election night. Sartain recounted how she disappeared for about 23 minutes before returning, and then left again shortly afterward.
During her absence, La Vie allegedly entered the green room and stole cash and credit cards from the other guests’ belongings. Sartain noted her calm demeanor upon returning, saying she acted nonchalantly while sitting with the stolen items nearby.
In the same episode, La Vie spoke of her desire for a traditional relationship, expressing a wish to cook and be a wife. However, her alleged actions appear to contradict this statement.
As the investigation continues, Sartain issued a cautionary message to men, urging them to seek genuine relationships rather than transactional ones based on wealth.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is encouraging anyone with information to contact the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station or Crime Stoppers.
