Nightclub shooting leaves 2 dead, 4 injured

ATLANTA, GA – A violent shooting erupted at the Elleven45 Lounge nightclub in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood in the early hours of Sunday, leading to two fatalities and injuring four more.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, the tragic incident took place at the nightclub, located at 2110 Peachtree Road NW, as officers responded to gunshots reported just before 2:30 a.m. 

Six individuals were found in the aftermath with gunshot wounds, two of whom were declared dead at the scene by paramedics. The remaining four victims were immediately transferred to a local hospital, with expectations of their survival.

FOX5 Atlanta stated that the victims comprised three men and three women, ranging from 20 to 30 years of age. The deceased victims included a male and a female. Police suspect a physical altercation at the club escalated into the fatal gunfire.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and no information regarding the suspect has been released.

In response to the tragic event, the club posted a message on its official social media platforms announcing that the club would remain closed on Sunday in cooperation with law enforcement investigations. The statement read, “Our hearts go out to all those impacted, and we extend our deepest sympathies to the individuals and families who have suffered loss and injury.”
