NEW PRAGUE, MN – Authorities believe they have found the body of 24-year-old Logan Sampson, who went missing over the weekend. The discovery was made around 11 a.m. when a drone located a body in a field near New Prague. While the identity has yet to be officially confirmed, police suspect it is Sampson.
Sampson was last seen early Sunday morning, prompting a massive search effort that spanned more than 48 hours. Hundreds of volunteers scoured the area, covering gravel roads and cornfields using ATVs, horses, and search dogs.
The urgency in finding Sampson was heightened by his recent medical history. A 2019 graduate of Lakeville North High School, Sampson had experienced two seizures and was without his medication and phone at the time of his disappearance.
