Two women and one man found shot to death

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A chilling discovery at the Shadow Ridge Apartments in northwest Harris County has sparked a homicide investigation after three bodies were found inside an apartment, authorities said Tuesday.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that all three victims, two women and a man, were found shot to death in a first-floor unit of the three-story complex. The crime scene remains taped off as detectives scour the area for clues.

The grim find was made around 2 p.m. when a concerned coworker arrived at the apartment to check on one of the victims. Using a key, the coworker entered and immediately called 911 upon discovering the bodies.

First responders from Precinct 4 Constable’s Office arrived swiftly, confirming the deaths and securing the scene. Investigators are working tirelessly to piece together what led to the violent deaths.

Authorities have yet to determine the relationship between the victims, but they have been in contact with family members and neighbors to gather more information about the individuals’ last known activities.

“We know they were alive this morning,” an official stated, emphasizing that friends or family had seen the victims earlier in the day.

Despite the brutal nature of the crime, investigators do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community. They are focused on collecting surveillance footage and other evidence to aid in solving the case.
