Five dead bodies found in home, including two kids

OKLAHOMA CITY – A shocking crime has rocked the suburbs of Oklahoma City after five people, including two children, were found dead in a residence in Yukon early Monday. According to officials, the gruesome discovery was made by a 10-year-old boy.

Emphasizing the gravity of the incident, Oklahoma City police Sgt. Gary Knight said, “This wasn’t a gas leak situation or a fentanyl-type situation, these are five people who were killed.”

A male victim was found with a firearm on him, but authorities have abstained from immediate pronouncements of murder-suicide. While police are in the “early stages” of the investigation, they have not made any appeals for potential suspects yet.

The victims, amongst whom were two children, have not been identified, nor has any confirmation been given regarding their familial connection.

Charles Bradley, District Superintendent, disclosed in an email sent to families on Monday that the children were enrolled as a sixth-grader at Meadow Brook Intermediate and a ninth-grader at Mustang High School, respectively. One of the deceased had graduated in the previous year.

Law enforcement presence was heavily noted at the cul-de-sac where the victims were discovered as officials continued to keep the scene blocked to non-residents. Police are set to deploy a crime scene investigation team, and further details will be released pending continued investigation.
