Food truck rollover crash sends woman to hospital

GOODYEAR, AZ – Tuesday morning commuters faced delays on Loop 303 after a food truck crash near Indian School Road. The incident caused significant traffic congestion as emergency crews tackled the aftermath.

The food truck was left in shambles, debris littering the road. The female driver, who was ejected during the crash, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

According to initial reports, a rear tire blowout led the truck to swerve into the median and overturn. This resulted in a spill of hazardous materials, necessitating a response from Goodyear’s hazmat team.

The freeway was closed for hours while crews worked to manage the situation. By late morning, traffic began moving again as one lane was reopened.

Traffic cameras captured the cautious return of cars to the freeway, though the scene served as a stark reminder of the morning’s disruption. While the opposite side of the freeway saw smoother traffic, drivers were advised to exercise caution.

With the freeway now reopened, the focus turns to the investigation of the tire malfunction. Authorities continue to urge drivers to maintain their vehicles to avoid such incidents.
