BUCKINGHAM TWP., PA – In a quiet neighborhood of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, residents were shaken by an apparent murder-suicide that unfolded on Monday. Local authorities reported they were called to a home in the 3900 block of Charter Club Drive after an elderly caller reported finding multiple bodies.
Upon arrival, the police found two men and a woman, all deceased from gunshot wounds to the head. The victims were identified as 21-year-old Raymond Chow and 63-year-old Amy Troung. They were believed to have been shot while they were in their beds by 59-year-old Steven Chow, who then reportedly committed suicide.
Though police have not yet disclosed the relationship between the victims, neighbors confirm they were family members, having lived in the neighborhood for over a decade. Jennifer DiCarlantonio, a resident of the same block, described the victims as a “very nice calm family”. Another resident, Lisa Brown, whose son went to high school with Raymond Chow, expressed shock at the tragedy.
Throughout Monday, law enforcement officials were seen entering and leaving the crime scene as they carried out their investigations.
Meanwhile, residents are in disbelief, grappling with the violence that unfolded in their usually quiet neighborhood. The motive behind the murder-suicide remains unclear, and investigations are ongoing.
