HOUSTON, TX – A local woman was found dead in her apartment, having suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Houston Police have released surveillance footage showing her walking with an unidentified man hours prior to her death.
When 27-year-old Kenia Guardado Molina failed to pick up her three-year-old son from a babysitter, the child’s grandparents discovered the tragic scene in her apartment within “The Carlisle” complex on Forum Park Drive.
The video was recorded in the early morning hours of September 30, showing Molina and the man close to her apartment. They appeared familiar with each other. Police have asked for the public’s assistance in identifying the man who is currently a person of interest in Molina’s murder investigation.
Molina, originally from Honduras, has left behind a 10-year-old daughter as well. Her family in Panama is dealing with the challenge of moving her body back to her homeland.
Anyone with information about the person of interest or the crime itself is encouraged to contact the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers. Callers wishing to remain anonymous may use any of the ways to contact Crime Stoppers.
