Naked man caught stealing police car

LAS VEGAS, NV – A bizarre and dangerous incident unfolded in Las Vegas when a naked man engaged in a violent altercation with a police officer, ultimately resulting in him stealing the officer’s patrol vehicle and causing a high-speed crash that left two innocent people critically injured.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department got a distress call around 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday reporting a naked man possibly in the midst of a mental health crisis on Blue Diamond Road and Buffalo Drive.

Disturbing video footage captured by a nearby driver shows a confrontation between an LVMPD officer and the naked individual, later identified as 29-year-old Clyde Cabulisan, right in the middle of an intersection. The video depicts a struggle, with Cabulisan even knocking off the officer’s hat and forcing him to the ground.

In a shocking turn of events, Cabulisan managed to seize control of the marked Ford F-150 patrol vehicle and sped away with its emergency lights still flashing. Witness Kyle Even, who filmed the incident, expressed his relief that the officer was not run over and remarked, “You got a cop and a naked dude. I thought he was going to be handcuffed and thrown to the ground.”

After taking possession of the police vehicle, Cabulisan embarked on a harrowing journey, leading law enforcement on a chase that spanned more than five miles. He recklessly crossed into oncoming traffic, disregarding a red light at Hacienda Avenue, and collided with the passenger side of a Ford Explorer. This horrific crash left a 34-year-old woman, who was driving the Explorer, and a 43-year-old male passenger in critical condition. Both victims were rushed to University Medical Center’s Trauma Unit.

Cabulisan himself sustained severe injuries in the collision but was apprehended and taken into custody before being transported to the hospital for treatment.
