One dead, three injured in late-night bar shooting

PITTSBURGH, PA – Following a shooting near 703 Social Club on Brighton Road in Marshall-Shadeland, one man has been confirmed dead, while three others have been injured.

The incident took place early on Saturday morning, with reports of shots fired near Brighton Road coming in just after 2 a.m. Pittsburgh Police arrived at the scene to find two men critically injured after an altercation at the bar.

Both men were transported to the hospital, however, one of them, 40-year-old Warren Thompson, subsequently succumbed to his injuries. The Pittsburgh Police gave confirmation of Thompson’s death.

Investigations into the incident revealed that two more individuals had also been shot. These victims, however, managed to get themselves to the hospital independently and are now stated to be in stable condition.

The shooting sparked considerable activity from the police, with officers seen gathering evidence in an effort to find out more about the incident. Yet, it remains unclear whether the shooting actually happened inside the bar or outside of it.

The identification of any suspects hasn’t been disclosed thus far as the probe into the matter continues. The Pittsburgh Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
