TORONTO, CANADA – Authorities have arrested a woman identified as Sabrina Kauldhar, 30, charging her with the murder of three individuals in a string of attacks across Toronto, Niagara Falls, and Hamilton. The violent incidents occurred from Tuesday to Thursday last week, resulting in her being labeled a serial killer by law enforcement.
Kauldhar was apprehended at a Toronto hotel when detectives connected her to the murders through matching suspect descriptions. Investigators are scrutinizing surveillance footage from a store where a woman, believed to be Kauldhar, purchased clothing later found in her possession.
The charges against Kauldhar include the deaths of a 60-year-old woman, whose body showed trauma, in Toronto as well as a 47-year-old man, Lance Cunningham, in Niagara Falls. She was also charged with the death of a 77-year-old man, Mario Bilich, in Hamilton. The Toronto victim was reportedly familiar with Kauldhar. However, police describe the other two as random targets.
Police Chief Bill Fordy conveyed that Cunningham and Bilich were executing routine activities when they were attacked. Cunningham’s tragic death resulted from a disturbance call in Niagara Falls, leaving his wife, Kim, and their 13-year-old daughter grieving their loss.
Mario Bilich, a former teacher, succumbed to injuries in the hospital after reportedly being followed by Kauldhar in a parking lot and stabbed multiple times. Connections among the murders were established when investigators linked the Hamilton and Niagara Falls cases, along with an earlier Toronto homicide.
The investigation continues as authorities delve into Kauldhar’s motives and further examine her movements and potential accomplices prior to her arrest, spotlighting the urgency of uncovering the full scope of these tragedies.
