SPRINGDALE, UT – A prominent figure in the tech industry, Justin Bingham, tragically died while canyoneering in Zion National Park, according to officials. The 40-year-old technology CEO, who was known for his adventurous spirit and leadership abilities, succumbed to injuries sustained in a fall that took place on October 5th.
Bingham, who led the digital feedback company Opiniion, was enjoying an outdoor adventure that was one of his passions when the accident occurred, the company revealed in a statement. Despite the heroic efforts of over 50 rescue personnel, Bingham could not be saved. His life was lost just days shy of his birthday.
The National Park Service reported that Bingham was with three friends near the Heaps Canyon exit when he slipped and fell, resulting in his tragic death. Zion National Park Superintendent Jeff Bradybaugh extended condolences to Bingham’s loved ones.
