Teenage boy stabbed to death, 14-year-old arrested

LINCOLN, NE – A fatal stabbing incident involving two teens occurred in Lincoln, according to the local police department. A 16-year-old boy lost his life, while a 14-year-old boy is currently in police custody.

It is reported that the incident took place in a domestic setting on North 64th Street close to Adams Street, late Saturday night. The police responded to a report of an ongoing altercation at the location.

When they arrived at the scene, the police discovered the 16-year-old victim with a chest wound. Despite efforts to provide immediate aid to the teen until he could be transported to a nearby hospital, the victim did not survive his injuries.

As the only suspect, the 14-year-old boy was arrested at the scene. However, the authorities are urging any potential witnesses or anyone with additional information to contact the Lincoln Police Department’s non-emergency hotline.

The identities of the victim and the suspect are currently being withheld due to their respective ages. Authorities are still waiting for the families to be officially notified of the fatal incident.
