WEST BRADFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – A tragic accident on Route 322 in Chester County has left a juvenile dead after an unexpected chain of events Tuesday morning. The Pennsylvania State Police are actively seeking information regarding the incident, which involved a deer and two vehicles.
Authorities report that the juvenile was seated in the passenger side of an SUV when a deer, initially struck by another vehicle traveling eastbound, crashed through the windshield. The catastrophic sequence began around 7 a.m. when the eastbound vehicle hit the deer, propelling it into the air and into the path of the westbound SUV.
The young victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. The incident has left the community grappling with the loss and the bizarre nature of the accident.
