Two children shot inside McDonald’s restaurant

NEW YORK, NY – The New York Police Department (NYPD) is currently investigating a shooting incident that left two young boys wounded. The victims, aged 12 and 13, were attacked in a McDonald’s outlet in the Bronx area. The gunfire broke out late on Saturday night. NYPD sources indicate that the incident appears to have been a targeted attack.

Both boys sustained gunshot injuries. The 12-year-old was hit in his left leg and back, while the 13-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to his left thigh. Officials were quick to respond to the emergency, and the victims of the shooting were promptly transported to Jacobi Medical Center, where they are reported to be in stable condition.

The incident unfolded shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday, inside the McDonald’s located on White Plains Road in the Allerton section of the city. The fast-food restaurant was set to close for the day in about an hour when the attack occurred.

As of now, detectives continue to collect evidence and are interviewing several McDonald’s employees as part of their investigation. Despite the incident, the motive behind the shooting remains unclear and no suspect has been identified yet. No arrests have been made at this time.
