PHILADELPHIA, PA – Two people tragically passed away in an RV located on the 2400 block of North Phillip Street in West Kensington, Philadelphia, in the early hours of Saturday. Officers were dispatched to the site following reports of a foul smell coming from a parked Coachmen Motor Home on the sidewalk.
On arrival, inspectors discovered two bodies inside the RV: a male found dead on a bed and a female near the RV’s entrance. According to a local resident, a pungent odor had been emanating from the vehicle since the previous night.
The male victim’s family identified him as 46-year-old Roberto Sanchez. His brother, Javier Sanchez, confirmed that the female victim was Roberto’s long-term girlfriend, whose personal details have not yet been disclosed to the public.
Roberto Sanchez, known for his hardworking nature and devotion as a father, had been battling addiction. He had reportedly been living in the RV for over a year alongside his 34-year-old girlfriend.
Although the authorities are currently treating the deaths as suspicious, they believe that a drug overdose could potentially be involved. This suggestion is pending confirmation from the medical examiner’s office.
Local police are asking for anyone who has information about the incident to come forward and contact their department.
