Two men found shot to death after getting into a brutal car crash

FOREST PARK, GA – A manhunt is underway for a suspect responsible for a double homicide following a car crash in Forest Park. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when a collision took place on Bartlett Road near Watts Road, according to Forest Park Police Chief Brandon Criss.

After the crash, law enforcement officers discovered the lifeless bodies of two men inside one of the involved vehicles. As of now, the identities of the victims have not been disclosed. Chief Criss explained that the car accident happened at the top of a hill, causing the vehicle to roll down the slope. This development expanded the crime scene, resulting in the closure of several blocks along Bartlett Road and Watts Road for several hours.

Authorities believe that the shooter, who is also believed to have been involved in the crash, fled the scene on foot. During the investigation, residents were advised to stay indoors or avoid the affected area. Kevin Brown, a resident of the area, expressed his horror over the tragic turn of events. He questioned why a car accident escalated into such a violent incident, devastated over the lack of civility in these kinds of situations.

The authorities have not yet released a description of the suspect. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in to provide assistance with the ongoing investigation.
