CHICAGO, IL – Two men were fatally shot during a late-night dispute with an employee at a South Side fast-food joint on Monday. The suspect remains at large, authorities say.
The incident unfolded around 10:30 p.m. at JJ Fish & Chicken located in the 7800 block of South Western Avenue in the Ashburn neighborhood. Chicago police reported that a heated argument broke out between the victims, aged 56 and 55, and a male restaurant employee.
During the altercation, the employee allegedly drew a firearm, shooting both men in the head. They were declared dead at the scene, police confirmed. The shooter fled the premises immediately after the incident and has yet to be apprehended.
