Two people shot at Taco Bell drive-thru in murder-suicide

STOW, OH – A violent confrontation at a Taco Bell drive-thru located in Stow on Wednesday evening resulted in the death of two people. The incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide by local law enforcement.

The fatal confrontation occurred around 7:20 p.m. in the 900 block of Graham Road, close to the Cuyahoga Falls border. When the police arrived at the scene, they found a man and a woman both deceased.

According to Stow police, an employee from Taco Bell had reported a distress call from a female customer who said that the car behind her in the drive-thru had hit her vehicle. Soon afterward, other witnesses at the scene contacted 911, stating that a shooting had taken place at Taco Bell.

Based on eyewitness accounts, it appears that the man in the drive-thru line had honked his horn and then proceeded to get out of his car. He then walked up to the woman’s car and shot her. The man subsequently turned the gun on himself.

At a press conference held on Thursday, the Stow Police officials remarked that they had no reason to believe that the two individuals had known each other. They referred to the incident as a “true tragedy.” The investigation into the shooting incident continues.
