Woman shot dead during fight between her estranged husband and boyfriend

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Late Friday evening, a domestic dispute resulted in tragedy when a woman was fatally shot in east Harris County. According to news from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place in a neighborhood north of the East Freeway near Wade Road on Perry Street around 11:30 p.m.

In the unfolding of the tragic event, the sheriff’s office stated that the woman and her boyfriend were together when her estranged husband appeared unexpectedly. His unannounced arrival led to a violent altercation.

Ultimately, the confrontation escalated and resulted in gunfire, striking and killing the 34-year-old woman. Emergency medical services, upon arrival, pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

The authorities did not specify which of the two men was responsible for firing the fatal shots that led to her untimely death. The boyfriend remained at the scene, offering his full cooperation with the ongoing investigation, as indicated by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. The estranged husband, however, has reportedly fled the scene, and authorities are in pursuit to obtain his account of events.
