Car crashes into liquor store, two people killed

DETROIT, MI – A nightmarish automobile crash near Prince Liquor, an east-side Detroit establishment, claimed two lives last Sunday evening. The accident, whose details remain blurred, involved a vehicle plowing into the liquor store located near Harper on Gratiot just before the midnight bell chimed.

Several eyewitness accounts describe the disturbing and deadly scene. Jasmin Martin, a victim of the accident, recounted, “The car came speeding and flew over my car, hit my car, and all I saw was bodies over my car.” She was in her car, parked near the store when the deadly crash occurred.

Another onlooker, Ray, shared his shock at the gruesome sight. “It looked like a car just flew through the air, split in half. And people were in the car as it flew into the store.” He saw the vehicle split in mid-air following a collision.

While the local medical examiner has verified the two casualties, it remains unsure whether the deceased were passengers in the car or unsuspecting bystanders. Another party present at the scene of the crash is reported to currently be in serious condition.

The incident continues to be under investigation.
