NYC Man Found Crushed To Death By Garbage Compactor After Video Shows Him Climbing Inside Trash Chute -Breaking 911

A man was found mutilated inside a trash compactor in Brooklyn, New York City.

A man was seen talking to another man and sliding half of his body inside the garbage chute’s hatch before deciding to lay down on the pit’s hatch to go down the abyss.

Surveillance video captured the moment he crawled inside. Two people watched him go inside feet first, and then looked down the shoot for almost 30 seconds afterwards.

Authorities are investigating whether the victim fell into the garbage pit or if he had mistakenly gone into the compactor portion of the dumpster.

Security camera footage shows moments before that a man plunged to his death into a garbage pit.

Police found the man dead in the garbage compactor in the basement of a Bed-Stuy building on Gates Avenue. They said there was no criminality suspected, and they did not know whether the man was a resident of the building.

There has not been an official motive released explaining the reason the man climbed into the incinerator. However, neighbors claimed that he was retrieving a set of keys.

Current residents said he shouldn’t have thrown his keys in the incinerator and that getting new keys made was not uncommon.
