NFL Player Accused of 22 Cases Of Sexual Misconduct

Deshaun Watson’s admission of sexual activity with three of the 22 plaintiffs could become a major problem – NBC Sports

The NFL has closed its investigation into the allegations against the quarterback, who was signed to a record-breaking contract with the Browns just months ago.

Deshaun Watson is still facing 22 civil complaints of sexual misconduct, and the NFL is investigating him.

Deshaun Watson has admitted that three out of 22 massage sessions resulted in consensual sex, but has already given 11 depositions and sworn under oath that there was no sexual activity.

Watson’s legal team admitted that Watson went to massages intending only to receive a professional massage.

Watson was getting massages from a broad array of female therapists, and three of those massages ended with consensual sex. This raises the possibility that he was looking for something more.

The bulk of the cases against Watson arise from allegations that he attempted to move the massage in that direction.

The judge allowed the plaintiffs to seek evidence regarding whether Watson engaged in sexual activity with the 19 massage therapists who provided statements of support for Watson. This triggered an angry response from Watson’s camp.

Deshaun Watson’s legal troubles continue to make national headlines, and his accusers spoke with Soledad O’Brien on HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel.

The Browns spent a lot of time evaluating Deshaun Watson, but they also respect due process.
