Stabbing at 7-Eleven store leaves one man dead, another man shot

LAS VEGAS, NV – A dispute outside a convenience store in Las Vegas has ended in fatalities after a gruesome episode of stabbing and shooting, as per the city’s police. The violent incident occurred on Tuesday at a 7-Eleven outlet situated on North Rancho Drive near Washington Avenue.

Las Vegas Metropolitan police were alerted to a stabbing at the convenience store, following which they discovered a man in his 30s with a stab wound inside the store. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

In the course of the incident, the police received another report informing that 33-year-old Billy Bell Jr. was shot at the same location. Upon arrival at the scene, the police found that Bell Jr. matched the description of the suspect involved in the earlier stabbing. Subsequently, Bell Jr. was taken into custody, and he cooperated with the detectives during the investigation.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Bell Jr. is suspected of loitering or panhandling outside the convenience store. Following this, another man drove up to the store with a passenger. The passenger and Bell Jr. engaged in a verbal dispute while the driver was inside the store.

The altercation escalated as Bell Jr. reportedly charged at the passenger, prompting the latter to fire a shot at Bell Jr., which missed him. When the driver emerged from the store, the trio engaged in another verbal skirmish. Subsequently, the driver and the passenger vacated the scene, only to return and confront Bell Jr., leading to a physical brawl that culminated in the driver being stabbed.

Investigations are ongoing as detectives are scouring the store’s surveillance footage and the nearby area for more evidence.
