Three injured, one dead, after unlicensed club turns violent

NORTH HARRIS COUNTY, TX – In the early hours of the morning, a violent incident unfolded at an unlicensed after-hours club on Mitchell Road, leaving one person dead and several others injured. Around 4:15 a.m., deputies responded to reports of a shooting at the establishment, discovering two individuals with minor gunshot wounds and a third person who had been severely beaten. All three were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Upon arrival, authorities noticed a significant amount of blood in the parking lot, prompting them to investigate further. Following a trail of blood back to the club, they found the premises locked and deserted by employees and patrons alike. Concerned for potential additional victims, deputies enlisted the help of the fire department to force entry into the building. A thorough search confirmed no other injured individuals were inside.

The situation escalated when deputies learned of another victim who had been privately transported to a hospital near the TC Jester and 610 Loop area. This individual was pronounced dead upon arrival, turning the investigation into a murder case. Law enforcement officials have since been conducting interviews at two different hospitals, speaking with witnesses and those involved in the incident.

As the investigation continues, authorities are piecing together the events that led to the violence. Cell phone footage from witnesses and statements from a family member of the deceased have offered some insights, although a clear motive remains elusive. It appears that a disturbance or fight may have broken out, but the exact circumstances are still under investigation.

Preliminary reports indicate that the shooting likely occurred inside the club, but confirmation awaits a detailed examination of the scene once a search warrant is obtained. The relationship between the victims is also unclear, though many of the individuals involved are believed to have known each other.

The club, operating without a license, became the scene of chaos after 4 a.m., and investigators anticipate it will take several days to unravel the full story. Authorities are working diligently to identify the shooter and determine the underlying causes of the altercation, hoping to bring clarity and justice to a community shaken by the incident.
