Two dead bodies found after ominous 911 call

VOLUNTOWN, CT – A mysterious double homicide investigation is underway in Voluntown, Connecticut, after a woman made an ominous 911 call. The unnamed caller simply stated, “Emergency, I’m sorry,” before she suddenly ended the call.

Upon reaching the specified address, police officials discovered a man’s body in the driveway showcasing visible injuries. However, their attempts to engage with potential occupants of the house went unanswered, prompting the use of phone pings to discern the presence of any other individuals inside.

With no response, a subsequent police strategy involved deploying drones within the home, which detected an unresponsive woman in the stairwell. Sadly, the unidentified woman was declared deceased shortly thereafter. At this moment, clarity is lacking regarding her continued silence during the police attempts to contact the home’s inhabitants or if she was the woman who made the distressed 911 call.

Details regarding the cause of death and the nature of the relationship between the two deceased are currently still under investigation.

While neighbors speculate that the two lived together, the local police refrained from confirming these claims, promising to release the identities and additional information in due course. One neighbor, Karen Hoenig, issued a stern reminder to never assume what happens behind closed doors, no matter how nice people may seem from the outside.
