Two women arrested in connection to man’s death in Vegas hotel room

A shocking incident unfolded on the Las Vegas Strip, as two women were arrested in connection with a man’s death in a hotel room.

On Monday, police were alerted to an unresponsive man in a hotel room along the renowned South Las Vegas Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered a distressing scene: a man succumbing to what appeared to be a gunshot wound. Despite the immediate presence of medical personnel, the man was pronounced dead on the scene.

As investigators began unraveling the sequence of events, they found that the victim had entered his hotel room accompanied by two women. These women were seen leaving the room just minutes later, reportedly with the man’s belongings. The quick departure and the circumstances surrounding the man’s death raised investigators’ suspicion.

The suspects were identified as 20-year-old Erika Covington and Arionna Taylor, also aged 20. Police managed to locate and arrest both women without incident. On Wednesday, they were charged with both robbery and open murder.

Authorities have not publicly shared the name of the deceased individual.
