1 Million Kids Will Have Their First COVID-19 Shot by Week’s End

(ConservativeStar.com) – Recently, parents were given permission to begin vaccinating their young children. While not everyone rushed out to get their kids jabbed many did. The Biden administration says one million children will be vaccinated against the coronavirus by the end of this week.

On November 10, a White House spokesman announced that, by the end of the day, around 900,000 elementary school kids are scheduled to have had their first COVID vaccination – with that number expected to pass a million by the end of the week.

On October 29, the FDA approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children ages 5 to 11. Up to that point, the manufacturer wasn’t allowed to start packaging and distributing the smaller child-size doses. Now there’s a rush to get them produced and out to vaccination centers. The predicted 1 million vaccinations only represent 27% of US children in that age bracket – and 30% of parents say they’re determined to refuse the vaccination for their kids.

Many parents are keen to get their kids vaccinated, and states are hurrying to oblige. For example, Minnesota has set up 1,100 vaccination sites. Whatever the administration wants, it’s up to parents to decide if their children get vaccinated or not.
