Police say a 9-year-old boy shot and killed a 15-year-old girl while playing with a loaded handgun.
Officers responded to a shooting in West Baltimore on Saturday night, where they found a victim. They located the gun, which belonged to a female relative who works as an armed security guard.
The shooting remains under investigation by local police and the state’s attorney’s office. It is unknown how the 9-year-old boy gained access to the gun.
