SUNLAND, CA – A shocking case has surfaced where an actor, identified as Nick Pasqual, aged 34, is accused of horrific violence against his ex-partner, Allie Shehorn. Pasqual, who had minor roles in “Rebel Moon” and “How I Met Your Mother,” is alleged to have broken into Shehorn’s home on May 23 at around 4:30 a.m. and stabbed her over 20 times. Pasqual was recently arrested in Texas while purportedly attempting to escape into Mexico.
Shehorn, who is a well-known Hollywood makeup artist and special effects producer recognized for her work on “Rebel Moon” and “Mean Girls,” sustained numerous injuries. These included many slash wounds to her neck as well as incisions on her arms and abdomen. Christine White, Shehorn’s surrogate mother, discovered her later that day in an extremely gruesome crime scene.
Pasqual now faces charges of attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and injury inflicted to a spouse, cohabitant, or child’s parent. There’s also the claim of causing substantial bodily harm under circumstances involving domestic violence. Upon conviction, he could potentially face a life sentence in prison.
Reports indicate that Shehorn had filed a restraining order against Pasqual a few days before the violent incident. The order alleged that she was attacked at least four times, with some instances involving a belt, door-breaking, a concussion, and even sexual assault.
Following the violent event, Shehorn was immediately hospitalized in critical condition and underwent multiple surgeries. She has since shown positive signs of recovery and was recently moved out of the ICU, according to trusted sources. A GoFundMe page was set up to cover her medical and rehabilitation expenses and has raised over $90,000 so far.
Pasqual, after evasion attempts, was eventually apprehended at the US-Mexico border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, cited the California prosecutor on Wednesday. In connection with the appalling incident, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón expressed sympathy for the victim, reiterated the office’s commitment to assist her, and ensured that justice would be served.
