Ilhan Omar Gets Slammed by Fellow Democrat for Attacks on Israel

(ConservativeStar.com) – Controversial and Islamist Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) who immigrated from Somalia, earned a sharp rebuke for comments regarding the current conflict between Israel and Hamas. One of the biggest authors of those rebukes is former New York State Assemblyman, talk show host, and DEMOCRAT, Dov Hikind.

The Conflict

The terrorist group Hamas, which has been the de facto government in the area known as the Gaza Strip, sent a salvo of rockets into and around Jerusalem, Israel after police there defended themselves from a group of Palestinians. A large group of Muslims had gathered in front of the Al-Aqsa mosque and they began using a pre-placed stash of rocks and fireworks to pelt the officers.

Israel Defense Force (IDF) airplanes began airstrikes on the area where the rockets originated at the direction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. As of May 14, 2021, the conflict has now escalated to include Israeli attacks on the tunnels terrorist used to cross into the country, tanks and troops heading into Gaza, and pro-Palestine forces from Lebanon breaching a fence to attack a border village.

The Rant

Omar once again went on an anti-Semitic rant calling Israel’s response “an act of terrorism” adding to her well-known desire for the extinction of the Jewish nation. In February 2019, her diatribes went so far that the House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning comments like the ones she had made — with every Democrat in the body agreeing to it.

The Response

Hikind, for his part, did not hold back in his criticism of the Congresswoman replying to her terrorism Tweet with one of his own that included a video of a police officer protecting a bloodied Jew and calling her a “disingenuous faker.” Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) laid into Omar and Hamas because they both know that the Islamic terrorists antagonize Israel in order to provoke a response that they can then use to condemn them.

Rubio continued, reminding her that “the [missile defense system] wouldn’t need to exist if it wasn’t for Hamas…” and all the Muslim nations surrounding the country since it was refounded in 1948. The fact that a member of Congress would use her position to denigrate an ally of the United States and portray a known terrorist group as victims should be repugnant to everyone — regardless of political views.
