New York Bus Driver Arrested For Using Drugs While on the Job

The 41-year-old driver of an Oswego City School District bus has been arrested for reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Nicole M. Palmer was caught on security cameras engaging in drug use while on breaks in between transporting students, leading police to investigate her actions.

Investigators found that Palmer had been using the drug “molly,” a street slang term for MDMA, which is often found in ecstasy.

When she operated a school bus with students on board, she was allegedly in an impaired condition as a result of the drug use.

The Oswego Police Department Criminal Investigation Division and the Oswego City School District worked together to investigate Palmer, who has since been released on an appearance ticket.

Her most recent appearance in court was scheduled for February 23rd.
