GOP Leaders Rush to Reagan Library to Plan Future of GOP

(ConservativeStar.com) – The GOP knows that if they wish to retake the House of Representatives and/or the Senate they need to decide what their message to America will be for the 2022 midterm elections. To that end, over the coming months, several prominent Republicans will be taking the stage at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library to express their points of view on the matter.

Each speech will be open to the public who adhere to the COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time and will also be available online through the foundation’s website and social media accounts. The current list of speakers includes:

  • Former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan — May 27, 2021.
  • Former Vice President Mike Pence — June 24, 2021
  • Former Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley — TBD
  • Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) — TBD

The series was named for a 1964 speech by the Institute’s namesake president that was filmed to express his support for Senator Barry Goldwater (R-AZ) for the party’s nomination. The events are to answer questions like “Why are you a Republican?,” and “What are the Republican philosophies we can all agree on?”
