Family of 4 found dead in alleged murder-suicide

A devastating incident has left the community of Allen, Texas, in shock. Two parents and two of their children were found dead in what authorities believe to be a murder-suicide. This tragic event comes just weeks after the family experienced the heartbreaking loss of their 4-year-old daughter, who drowned in a swimming pool.

On Monday morning, police responded to a welfare call at the Sherwani family’s residence in Allen, a city located approximately 30 miles north of Dallas. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless bodies of Farman Sherwani, Layla Sherwani, Mateen Sherwani (2), and Shaheen Sherwani (12). The tragic incident is believed to be a murder-suicide, with the drowning of their young daughter potentially playing a role.
