(ConservativeStar.com) – As Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is in many ways the face of the Democratic Party. As such, she should be someone who cares about the people she claims to represent and not, as some have put it, a reincarnation of Marie Antoinette’s high-handed “let them eat cake” persona.

And yet the year 2020 showed that she may not grasp that point, if one’s to judge by the errors she’s made, including:
- Withholding the articles of impeachment in an attempt to show her dominance over the Senate.
- Visiting a San Francisco hair salon where she was caught on video flouting California’s COVID-19 regulations foregoing the required face covering.
- Obstructing a second coronavirus relief package, effectively causing millions of Americans to suffer during an already vulnerable time.
- Risking a severe backlash in 2020 by defending Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) who may have fallen into a Chinese Intelligence honey trap.
Pelosi and her ilk seem to have forgotten they were elected to work for all Americans. Their actions tend to portray a self-image of those who are free to rule in whatever manner they see fit.
