Pit bull breeder’s dead body found in dog kennel

COMPTON, CA – A 35-year-old man, believed to be a pit bull breeder, is now dead after being brutally attacked by his own dogs in his backyard in Compton. Early on Friday morning, the police and emergency responders rushed to the residence based on a distress call, reporting that a man looked like his dog had mauled him.

On scene, authorities found the victim’s body in one of the multiple kennels stationed in his backyard. Also discovered in the premises were 13 pit bulls, comprising five adults and eight puppies. The victims’ dogs are now in the custody of the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control with the father’s consent.

Based on video footage, authorities have deduced that the lethal attack likely happened between 7:30 pm and 8 pm on the preceding Thursday.

Investigators share the presumption that an altercation arose while the victim was feeding his dogs, which eventually ended in the pit bulls mauling him. The victim’s identity remains unpublicized as he succumbed to the injuries from the attack.

This fatal incident is currently under further investigation by the L.A. County Department of Animal Care and Control, who are working to unearth more details about the incident and its intricacies.
