(ConservativeStar.com) – During the 2020 presidential campaign season, then-candidate Joe Biden berated and vilified President Donald Trump. On his campaign website, it says Trump “… claimed that every American who wanted a test could get one. It was a lie then. It’s still a lie.” Biden touted his plan, promising to “guarantee regular, reliable, and free access to testing for all.” One state governor, however, is following through on his promises to his constituents.
Across the nation, tests are sold out on store shelves and testing sites have hours-long lines. However, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) has managed to procure 1,000,000 at-home tests that he’s getting into the hands of some of the most vulnerable in his state, senior citizens.
In his appearance on Fox & Friends, DeSantis also slammed President Biden for broken promises and for blaming pandemic deaths on Trump instead of China, where he believes the blame really belongs.

The Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus is tearing through America at a pace unseen since the pandemic began. It recently hit a one-day record of about 1,100,000 new cases reported on Monday, January 3. Florida posted a record high cases for one day on January 4 with just over 150,000 cases reported per Johns Hopkins.
President Biden’s failures aren’t going unnoticed in the press. Both the Washington Post and the Pottstown (PA) Mercury (covering the Reading through Philadelphia corridor) have both recently published opinion pieces critical of the job that he has — or hasn’t — done since taking office. Fortunately, the citizens of Florida have DeSantis on their side and he’s getting things done.
