The deadly virus hasn’t been very predictable thus far, so there is no reason to believe that will change. The way America responds to it is another story.
President Donald Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed” helped scientists develop a vaccine in less than a year. In 2021, those Americans who want it will be able to get one. The FDA has also approved a number of therapeutics that will help more people survive the illness. In 2020, scientists were developing the medications, but in 2021, we likely see more widespread use.

Unfortunately, 2021 will probably also see a rise in COVID-19 vaccine scams. The FBI has already warned Americans to look out for criminals using the virus to steal money and personal information.
In short, all there are challenges that lie ahead, we will get through them just like we did in 2020. The new year is already shaping up to be much better on the COVID-19 front with vaccines and medications available to those who want them. And we all have President Donald Trump to thank for the progress.
