Police Make Arrests After 80 Robberies

(ConservativeStar.com) – It may only be the first month of 2021, but Albuquerque, New Mexico police broke a significant case involving up to 80 different homes. These residences, in the dead of night, were invaded, some of them while the homeowners slept.

The culprits? Not a seasoned criminal, as you would expect. Police arrested two teenagers, 18-year-old Jesse Mascareno-Haidle and 17-year-old Joshua Templeton in the crime spree.

Obviously, the pair never spent much time watching “Law & Order” or any other police procedural TV show because they made two blunders leading detectives straight to them. First, they established a pattern of targeting houses that backed into open spaces so they could search for unlocked windows or doors, and they also made no effort to hide their faces from surveillance cameras. They stole everything from gaming systems to guns.

Fortunately for the people of Albuquerque, they have a dedicated police force that works hard to keep the city safe. Nobody was hurt in any of these robberies, but it could have ended so differently had officers not put a stop to it.

It’s currently unclear whether either suspect has a lawyer.
