The Simpsons Predictions: What They See Happening in 2021

(ConservativeStar.com) – If one were to ask if there were any similarities between a 16th-century French seer by the name of Nostradamus and an animated series that first appeared on The Tracey Ullman Show on April 19, 1987, they’d likely get reactions questioning their sanity. However, the Fox TV series The Simpsons has a history of seeing into the future.

Whether it involves politics or sports, or even pandemics, the iconic pop culture show has come close to the mark several times, including:

  • In 1993, the creators hit a twofer. It highlighted both a coronavirus-esque “Osaka flu” outbreak and a swarm of something similar to murder hornets. Both were real events in 2020.
  • In 2010, Marge and Homer won Olympic gold when they beat Sweden in curling. In 2018, the United States men team did just that.
  • In an episode meant to show Lisa her future that aired in the year 2000, it predicted she would become president and replaceā€¦ Donald Trump.

So, has the family of yellow-skinned characters seen anything lurking in the year 2021? The episode titled “Treehouse of Horror XXXI” showed Inauguration Day ending with horsemen carrying flags saying “pestilent,” “famine,” and “war.”
